Frigidaire has been using this lock with the same 3 plugs for decades. There is a kit that includes concrete weight and pump harness to use normal lock on really old machines.

The wiring harness on my maching has only one plug and four separate wires. I just can't figure out how to make them work. My machine model number is FWT449GFS1 and it pumps and drains but will not spin

Could you rig it up? Maybe but having a door successfully lock will help you avoid repeated floods. If not this kit is I think what was sold to make new switch fit old machines Frigidaire 137523400 Door Switch/lock Kit - AppliancePartsPros.com I would advise using the kit, despite the increased cost.
