Washer was overloaded and clothes were still wet when all cycle ended. The machine fills, drains, agitates, agitator spins but basin does not spin. I tried to reset motor and the agitator spun, basin spun then grinding noise and stopped. At the bottom of the basin there was metal fragments. The drum mounting hub, I see in broken up.
The drum mounting hub being broken is this what's stopping the basin from spinning?
Is it the agitator assembly?
The agitator spins which in turn should turn the basin?
