Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/23/2017(UTC) Posts: 5		Hi, have a Whirlpool front loader and it stops working during the wash cycle. If I press play once it stops it makes a constant noise but nothing is happening. The light blinks 8 times. I hope this helps! Please help!

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/23/2017(UTC) Posts: 5		I forgot to mention that once it is making that constant noise the only way to stop it is to hold the power button for approximately 15 seconds so the machine shuts down completely.

Does the drum spin or agitate at all? What light blinks 8 times? Have you tried drain and spin cycle, if so what happens then?

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/23/2017(UTC) Posts: 5		Hi brobriffin, thank you for replying. It stops approximately 3-4 minutes into the wash cycle. During that 3-4 minutes all it does is spin left, then right. The Wash light blinks 8 times.

Some times the F8 is followed by either one or more blinks giving a definite why. It may be a problem with long fill or over filling. Does your machine completely drain all of the water out? What is the sound you hear? [constant noise] Is it coming from the bottom of the machine?

Let that complete and try washing again. Also I noticed the flashing codes it seems in the brief video that there was a single flash after the 8. If that is true it indicates long fill. You may have an obstruction in the inlet valves or the filter screens or the inlet valves may not be fully opening.
