I have a wfw70hebwo Whirlpool front loader. Recently when I press the start button, it beeps as if to start, then turns off. Then it won't turn back on with the power switch, but turning the washer selector turns on the power. This does not happen all the time, but many times. When it runs, it runs fine. I replaced the main CCU and door lock with no relief. When it doesn't work, I hear one or two faint clicks before it turns off. When it works, it clicks 3 or 4 times, then the door locks, and the washer runs. In diagnostic mode, it usually won't run the C00 test for the door lock, and the machine just turns off.

Shortly before the problem, a charcoal filter on our house water system burst and put some charcoal granules in the lines. Had to clean the filters out where the hoses attach, and it ran fine. For awhile. Could blockage in the water intakes cause the problem?

Thanks in advance!
