Hello, I'm looking for some help! My washer wasn't spinning properly, causing my clothes to be really wet at the end of the cycle. There was also a loud banging sound during the spin cycle, as though the barrel was hitting the side of the machine. I replaced the cam/splutch as well as the cover, which had been burned through from the cam. The cam nut was also off. After replacing these parts, the washer sounded a little rough, but was spinning properly again. However, a few cycles later, and the washer won't go into the spin cycle, but instead has the lid lock flashing red, until it finally switches over to the spin cycle but nothing is happening. Upon further investigation, the cam has once again popped off the nut and burned through the cover. What is wrong with it?? Of course this has to happen while my husband is on a military training exercise! With 4 kids, the laundry is piling up quick!
