Need some help sorting out how to wire a GE washing machine motor to either a low spin speed or medium spin speed. I'm looking to wire the motor itself and not use any of the other electronics on the washer.

I have the schematic but can't figure out which terminals are the Start, Run and medium or slow setting terminals. I don't see any starting capacitor exterior to the motor which is making it hard for me to sort out. Measuring resistance between the different wires hasn't given me any clear clues either.

I've attached a picture of the schematic that was in the washer. I've also attached the tech sheet which I believe is for this machine that states (bottom of page 4) for medium motor speed the contacts should be W-BK to BU...but it also shows START to be wiring Y-BK to Y. How do I hard wire for the motor to start and run at medium speed? Any insights would be great. Thanks.
