![]() Model Number: MVWB750WQ0 Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
![]() I need to replace the tub seal and bearing in my Maytag Bravos washer. I am having difficulty removing the bolt at the bottom of the tub. It has seized overtime. I'm trying to keep the tub from turning with one hand and loosen the bolt with a socket wrench with the other hand. I bolt is stuck tight. The task requires two people: one to hold the tub from turning and one to loosen the bolt with the socket wrench. I have no one to help other than my wife, who is not strong enough to be of much help. Any ideas how to secure the tub so it doesn't turn while I am trying to free the bolt with the socket wrench? Thanks for your help. Related Models |

![]() In place of that try using P.B. Blaster on the bolt. Use a liberal amount and let soak overnight. Then try to shock it by holding the ratchet and tapping it with a hammer to break the bolt loose. This I've done before, there may be other ways.
