Damn plastic switch crumbled into pieces, don't want to pay $70 for new one.
Is there a way to bypass the switch to get it running again.

In short yes, but that is a big safety issue, we don't recommend. Check with some local repair services to see if anyone has a used one if price is the issue. Also find your part number and search ******** for good used switches.
Remember though at APP you receive quality OEM parts that will last and have a 365 warranty.

I'm not concerned about safety as it's only myself using it. Where would one search for used parts.

By entering your part number as a search you will find the part likely on "E.B.A.Y"
I guess they omit it with ********* if you spell it out correctly as I did in the previous reply
