For instance when the "white" cycle is selected, the drum rotates and there is a humming sound but no water goes in. The "heavy" cycle also didn't work a few days ago and now it works. The other cycles are working normally

The humming noise might be your water valve trying to open, is it coming from the front or back of the machine? If you can feel the fill hoses at the machine you can actually feel the valves open. You can experiment by changing the temperature and seeing if it actually fills on both hot and cold.

You hit on the problem. The "white" cycle works using cold water. What would cause the hot water valve not to open? A bad relay?
