Yesterday I took my washer apart to clear the drain pump. I am now putting everything back together and the inner tub is stuck on the drive shaft. It was difficult getting it off but after I used the car jack and 2x4 method I was able to get it loose enough to remove it. Now, I cannot make it go down any further and I am unable to screw the agitator back on. Has anybody else experienced this? Is it okay to use lubrication to get it back on?
