loose change has gotten to bottom of drum and periodically will block the hose leading to the discharge pump. how do I get to the coins?

Here's a video. Pretty much ignore all the stuff they say until time 11:35

This part shows how to remove the top, agitator, and inner basket/drum.

So between 11:35 and 17:50 is probably what you need.
