recently washer (2 speed model) will not get up to high speed during spin cycle. tried wiring motor for single speed as suggested (Fairbanks56 post 12/28/12) to no avail (motor would not start) motor runs on high speed during wash cycle; it ramps up from a slow speed to a "medium" speed during spin, just will not run at high speed during spin cycle. I painted a white dot on the belt to qualitatively assess the different speeds during the different cycles. Is this a motor issue, transmission issue, or possibly a timer switch problem? Pretty handy mechanically so will attempt any repair suggested.
