My washer was working fine, but all of a sudden it fills with water normally, but doesn't agitate. It makes a lot of noise but the agitator doesn't move. I first thought that I should replace the agitator cam after watching a video, but when I removed the whole agitator assembly and turned it on, the shaft didn't bulge inside. It continued making the same noise as of something was not catching a gear or something. Please help! If I have to call a repairman, I might as well get a new one, but I really like the washer.
