Have a Kenmore oasis top load washer that is no longer completing a drain cycle. This originally started as a SD error. I've replaced the drain pump as the impeller on the old one was a little wobbly. but I am still having issues

I've done all the manual diagnostics and it passes every step.

What is happening is when it gets to a drain cycle it drains the tub. When the tub is empty, the drain pump keeps going and the agitator keeps rotating a 1/4 turn. Since drain pump is still going, I can hear little squirts of water coming out into my drain pipe and it sounds like it's cavitating. I did a tub zero reset and ran an agitation test; after the test I hit stop and it drained the tub and stopped immediately when empty so it seems the issue is only during a wash cycle. I think that narrows it down to the RPS (which passes the manual test) or the mainboard but I'm not sure which is the issue and would like some additional input
