I had a dc code and found information on this forum about issues with the clutch on this machine. I followed the instructions on cleaning the clutch bearings and it worked great for several loads after the repair, then I got the code again. I pulled the clutch again and the pin in the spring coil had come out and the end of the coil was bent. I straightened it and put it back and it worked for a couple of more loads but now something is bending the spring coil completely out of shape and the machine sounds like its falling apart.

I've never had any success trying to repair these either. I suggest replacement.

It seems once it goes bad its going to continue to, which may not be a fault of the machine but just the clutch assembly itself.
