Hey guys, need your experience and expert advice. My lovely bride left a couple of rings in her pocket when washing in our RV. She found one in the boot/bellow seal in the front. The other, which is the good one, is MIA. I'm not an appliance tech, but an auto tech. I'm hoping someone that's familiar with this model may give me some ideas based on your experience of where I might look for the ring. I've got a service manual on this model. This is what I've done so far.
*Looked very close on the inner edge of the boot seal.
*Checked the pump drain filter (found some coins). I checked up the inlet to the filter and got out a few more coins, but that's all. There is no way the ring could get passed the orifice of the filter.
*After cleaning the filter, ran a cleaning cycle and then another regular cycle which resulted nothing.
I'm wondering if the thing is laying in the tub drum or maybe the hose from the drum to the inlet side of the pump?
It appears to gain access I have to pull the front panel. Doesn't appear too hard, but any comments and thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks! rockin'

PS I have checked my dryer closely also.

Yay! I got it out. I was starting to pull the front panel and did another 3 loads of laundry (total 5 loads since we lost the ring). Checked the drain filter one more time, the filter was clean but I stuck my finger up the pump inlet port and felt something. I got some mechanics wire and put a little hook in the end and played with it up inside the inlet port. Out comes the ring! A very special custom built ring with investment grade diamonds. My bride and I both were tickled. The bottom line here is have patience! Run several loads before tearing the front of the washer. rockin'
