Frigidaire front load washer has started leaving black marks on clothes in the pattern of the drum holes. Has also started making a load noise in spin cycle when it used to be quiet. Drum and rubber seal at the front are clean:confused:

Take off the back and listen to see if the noise is coming from the rear bearing, which is very likely. In that case you need to replace the entire back of the tub, which for most folks is too much money to put into the machine. Here is the part. Part number: AP2578105

thanks for the info. unfortunately I'm disabled and moving the washer not to mention taking it apart are not options. Any clue as to why the black marks on the clothes?

Sorry to hear about your disability.
The black marks are somewhat of a mystery, sounds like something got into the cabinet, but you would have to take the cabinet apart to see what it is and if it can be cleaned off.
Given that the bearing is probably going you may want to think about a new or late model used machine. I would get a basic top loader because it will do a good job for you and should not require any major repairs.
