The clothes are coming out pretty wet after the end of the complete cycle.

I put the washer into spin mode. The tub slowly spins and the agitator is also working at a slow speed.

I noticed at the end of the wash cycle, water drained properly but the tub spun slowly and the agitator was also moving.

At the beginning of the spin cycle, the water drained fine, but once again, the spin speed was slow and the agitator was also moving.

Also, I'm pretty sure that during my testing of the spin cycle, I noticed one time that the tub didn't spin but the agitator was working.

From my search of the forums, this appears to indicate a transmission problem? Is that correct? Anything else to check? If it's a transmission, then it's time to buy a new machine (since the transmission cost is high).

Thanks for any help.
