Hi All,

I need to confirm something with you guys as this is my first major appliance repair job I do at home. I have a LG WM3875hvca front-loading washer that randomly gets the tE error. We have to turning it off and on. I read online on what could probably be the issue, so I decide to take it apart. I think the issue is a bad heating element. I measure the resistance, but I don't get any reading from it. I got a reading of 54K ohms on the thermistor, which seems to be out of the normal range per the service manual. I will be ordering the heating element, which also seems to come with the thermistor attached to replace. Do you guys think I'm heading the right direction?

Thanks all.
