Can you post a model number for us so we can see exactly what you have?

If this is a standard GE top loader you may have an electrical problem with your pump, or with the wiring going to the pump, but let's see which model you own.

I can only get a similar model number to come up, but if your machine is like that model your pump is electric driven and I suspect there is a weak spot in the wiring to the pump. Check it out, and even if you do not find anything wrong you might replace the wiring to the pump and see if that fixes things.

Where are you operating the machine?
