I can't seem to figure this one out so I'm hoping someone can lend me some knowledge. My washing machine fills but stops at the agitate phase. I can turn the knob to the spin phase and it will drain and spin just fine. I've taken the washer apart and the belt and drive block look to be in good condition. WIth the front panel off I checked to see if anything happened during the agitate phase but no dice. It runs fine during the spin cycle. The motor doesn't make any sound or movement during the agitate phase. This happens during the agitate phase for each cycle. Any ideas what is wrong?

Since it will drain and spin that suggests the motor is okay. I would try changing out the control unit and see if that fixes things; for some reason power is not getting to the motor and the control unit is the likely culprit.

If you buy the part from this site and it does not fix the problem you can return it.

Good luck
