My washer dosen't drain out the water and I have been told it is the drain pump. What is the best way to change this item. Do I go from the front panel or the bottom?

You will go in through the front panel. Insert a screw driver or putty knife in the gap between the front panel and top, approximately 3 inches from each edge to release clips that hold the top panel on. Lift it up and you will have access to screws that hold the front panel on. Take them out, allowing the front panel to tilt back wards and you can take it off the bottom clips.
