While operating the washer, it stayed in the "WASH" cycle and the timer was was not changing its position, after about 30 minutes. So I tested the timer manually rotating it, and was able to use all of the machine's cycles- fill, wash, agitate, drain, rinse, spin, etc. to get a load done.

The timer did NOT move on its own during any of the forced cycles.

What are the possible parts needed to repair?
