I have a Maytag Bravos washing machine with bad bearings. It makes loud noise during spin cycle.
I ordered bearing repair kit without realizing tub press and seal press tools.were needed which cost $70 or more. I called around to local repair places and was told to replace the tub because the bearing seal may leak if.not replaced properly.
My question is if I continue to use the machine until it dies is there any danger of fire or water leakage if I continue to use it. I plan to buy a new machine when this one dies.
Thank you for any advice, Greg
