Hi, My Thin Twin stackable washing machine fills up with water, but it won't start washing. How do I determine if it is the lid switch or the timer? Thank you so much for your help! Patti

It is most likely the lid switch. Set timer to drain or spin and pull knob, if timer does not advance on it's own even if washer doesn't start, this is more indication of a faulty lid switch.

Hi Eric, Somewhere on this website I was SURE I saw step-by-step directions (diagrams included) showing how to change this lid switch (Whirlpool Model LTE6234DQ5 Thin Twin Stackable W & D). Any chance you could direct me to the right place because I can't seem to find it anywhere!! Thanks for all of your help! Patti
