Hi.
This isn't a repair question. It's a "new" owner question. I just purchased the above referenced washing machine and have found a broad variety of reviews on it, ranging from outright/absolute disgust to ecstatic joy.
The person I bought it from-- at a garage sale-- said that I should place the items I'm washing around the perimeter, instead of just throwing everything in, the middle.
One review I'd read said that theirs had torn large sheets, bedspreads, etc....
While we've had top loading washing machines before, they were older models, which had the central post. Our last model was a whirlpool duet, front loader. We really liked it, and are sad to let it go.

Can someone please tell me how this washing machine works? Are there different ways the top loading, non-post washers should be loaded, etc....

Thank you.
SteveB.

There is no particularly way to load it. Just put the clothes in evenly in the tub and you should be fine. There may be problems, but not because of the way you load it.
