washer sounds like it has pebbles or change in it when draining

First thing to check is the drain pump, very easy to get stuff lodged in there, partiuclarly if like me you don't check pockets

you were right the drain was clogged with lint and change i was able to clear the lint but the change is stuck between the plastic housing and the drain elbow before the pump where there is a plastic piece probably used to prevent change from entering the pump is the change there forever or how do i remove it
