I replaced the capacitor, I have the instruction sheet on how to recalibrate the machine; but I do not understand what the standby mode is. I even have the manual and know where can I find the standby mode.

Hello Owen. Stand by mode is when the unit has power coming to it, but none of the lights are on. In other words, you have not activated a cycle or pressed any buttons on the console. This is know as stand by mode.
