Hi Everyone,

My front load washing machine (its a little known brand called Apollo) started making scraping noises first during the spin cycle then during the regular cycle. Finally today it stopped working. I opened the back and when I did I noticed on the bottom there is a lot of dirt and grime. I noticed that he belt slipped so I put it back one, but then I noticed when the machine spins the metal piece does not spin even and does not stay within the plastic piece around the metal drum, causing the scraping noises. The metal drum is contained within a big piece that looks like it will be difficult to open.

Does anyone know what the problem is with the washing machine, it seems to be that the drum is not balanced like it should, but I am not sure what it is connected to or what to open in order to fix it. Anyone with more experience able to give me come help?

Hi Nathan

Not only am I (and I am sure others who reply on this Forum) unfamiliar with this model but I cannot find any info on it to see if its comparable to something we are familiar with.

I suggest you look at some other Forums and see if you can get some help.
