my washer will not come on except to spin have tried all cycles any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Assume it does not fill? Need to check to see if your getting power to the fill valves in wash cycle. Also try rinse cycle. Rinse cycle is cold water only and bypasses the temp switch. When set to rinse, check for power at cold water valve solenoid.

nope does not fill and is gettting power...

If your getting power to the inlet valve solenoids, then remove the hoses and check the screens for blockage. Direct hose into tub to make sure you have good water pressure. If good and screens are clear, replace the inlet valve assembly.

thanks... i found a family member with more expertise than my minimal knowledge and it was the timer ..whoop!

You gave me bum info. If there was power to the inlet valves, then the problem would not be the timer.
