Washer agitates during spin cycle. If agitator is pushed down during spin, tub will begin to spin. During agitate cycle sounds like plastic clunking, not metal to metal. Removed drum and exposed brake, was hoping to find issue but brake was clean, slightly glazed. Put thrust bearing back on, agitator and tub does not disengage when thrust bearing is rotated. Shaft needed to be pried up to install e clip. Transmission or thrust bearing/cam assy? BTW new thrust bearing cam ass'y installed in may 2014 with new tub bearing and seal and snubber ring. AOK until now.

Faulty transmission. Common problem with these transmissions due to the plastic input pinion gear. Transmission is not serviceable.
