Looking for historical and current knowledge. We are replacing 15 year old washer/dryer stack and found that new ones are taller. Are there shorter stackable washer/dryer? 15 year old set is abt 70" but cabinet is 74" & new stackables are too tall to fit. Are there shorter stackables than the LG and Samsung? Seems like this is the Super-size phenom all over again. Our old set is 3.1 cu. ft. but new ones are 4.4 cu. ft.....:)
