About 4 months ago, I discovered my maytag Neptune front loader poured water some time during a load of laundry. I watch the machine every time I did laundry for the next month and no water leaked from the machine. Then, last weekend it happened again. There was about 4 gallons of water in the pan (which I put under it after it leaked 4 months ago) and on the floor. Both times I checked the water supply lines and the drain line. They were dry both times. The front around the door was dry both times. It's definitely coming from the inside. I have done 5 loads of laundry since this weekend and it is not leaking. Any ideas?

Intermittent problems like this are terrible to diagnose because they are intermittent. I can only think that maybe there is a problem with the water level switch and you might try replacing it and see if that fixes things.
