There are (2) lights on the underside for the stove. One worked intermittently indicating a loose connection. I tried locating the the fault first by moving the wires and then by checking for current using a multi-meter. In the process I accidentally caused a short. There was a pop within microwave (somewhere in the cavity behind the control panel) and the breaker tripped. After resetting the breaker I no longer got any current for the lights. The microwave and everything else seems to work fine, BUT... The stove top fan comes on at random by itself runs at high speed for about 45 seconds then shuts off. During this time I have no control in manually shutting it off or changing the fan speed. This is happening every few hours and as frequently as about every 4 minutes. Is the control board bad? I gave it a brief inspection and didn't see any burnt or discolored areas.
