Washer has stopped aggitating and spinning. It makes a grinding sound when it attempts to do such a thing. Water drains just fine and the washer will cycle through all the processes per the timer. The center just won't spin or aggitate. Any ideas?

your whirlpool washer needs a drive coupling that is between the motor and the transmission part #285753A that will make it go
