My washer spins fine but the agitator barely moves.

Your model number is incorrect but I assume you have a basic Whirlpool made direct drive washer.

The usual culprit in problems like this are the agitator dogs. Use your model number to find the part and a video on how to change them out. This is about the easiest and most inexpensive repair you could have.
