Recently my washer (Whirlpool direct drive top load) started leaking.
I took off the cabinet and it seems to be leaking from somewhere in the center on the machine. Ran it through a cycle and the leak seems to occur only while agitating. I removed the outer tub, but there doesn't seem to be any evidence that the tub seal is bad. Is it possible to have a leak between the center post and the spin tube, or between the agitator shaft and the transmission tube?
Ruling out the pump and hoses, is the tub seal the only place where water can leak from?
Thanks!

It probably is the center post gasket. Sometimes damage is just not visible.

I'll give it a shot.
Thanks!
