To whom it concerns,

The washing machine just started acting up tonight. So here goes, The washing machine will not fill up with water, and it seems it will not cycle through the full/entire cycle from start to finish. Curious to what could the problem be?

Thank you,
Bill

We need the model number of the washer. It's not going to advance through the cycle if it can't fill up with water.

This is a load sensing model. May be a faulty load sense switch. Will the washer spin if timer is manually placed into spin function?

Yes, if we manually turn the switch it will start to spin.

Ok, so that means the lid switch is good. The problem is most likely the load sense switch. Place timer into the rinse fill portion of the cycle. Rinse fill bypasses the temperature switch. If it still won't fill there, then I would replace the load sense switch. This is your front panel fabric softener switch. Any part ordered from APP can be returned if it doesn't fix the problem.
