I have had this washer for less than a year. It was working fine until the past month when the spin cycle caused such a vibration that I could hear it upstairs.
I have seen it slowly walk across the laundry room about 2 feet. I rechecked the level and it seems fine and it does this vibration walk even with a tiny load.
I'm pretty handy but I'd like to know what this might be before I start taking it apart.

Need to remove the cabinet to inspect the suspension parts. Check condition of the three horizontal springs at bottom of outer tub and the longer vertical spring that connects back of tub to lower frame. Common for the lower hole for that spring to rust out. Just drill a new hole if that is the problem. Also check the orientation of the suspension plate as per below diagram. If all checks out so far, then you need to check the 6 damper pads. Three are on top of the suspension plate and three on top of the base just under the suspension plate.
