Maytag HAV2357AWW is making clunking noise and shaking during spin cycle and some burning rubber smell while draining. Removed belt, pulled it right off without loosening motor, maybe to easily? Belt not cracked or damaged/burned. The pump, drive pulley and motor shaft turn easily (by hand) in both directions, no resistance. Tried to run motor without belt but it would not turn shaft, empty or full of water.
Update 2- the intermittent noise appears to be coming from the pump replaced belt, possibly stretched? 3 loads washed with no noise.
