Just replaced orbital transmission. Washer agitates and spins but it keeps spinning after power off. Brake wasn't bad before repair. Did I install transmission wrong?

Probably not, I would take out the brake assembly, check it and put it back in. Be sure and use the brake tool and be very careful with that spring.
