To anyone who has had multiple "dc" error codes and/or an audibly unbalanced load, consider replacing the four suspension rods and springs. My washer was approximately 1&1/2 years old when we began having unbalanced loads (dc error code) every time we did a load of laundry regardless of the size of the load or how we loaded the machine. We checked that the machine was level using the water method described in the owners manual and everything was within spec. The fix was easy! Just remove the back panel (4 phillips screws) along with the rectangular wiring cover (one hex phillips screw) and the two hex phillips screws mounted vertically in the gray plastic hold downs on the back top of the machine control panel. Use a putty knife to push in each of the front lid clips while slightly pulling up on the lid. DO NOT remove the entire lid as wiring is still attached, just slightly lift and spin the lid 1/4 turn to reveal the suspension rods in each corner. Remove them one at a time by pulling up against the spring tension then clean and lightly re grease the cups in each corner before reinstalling the new rod assembly. Reassemble, check that machine is level, plug in, reposition drain hose and run a load. This a simple and inexpensive fix. The rods were approximately $16 each and the only tools needed were a phillips screw driver, putty knife, flash light and some white lithium grease. SAVE some money and do this yourself.
Cheers
