My GE washer won't agitate or spin. Belt is fine, magnetic lid switch is fine, no oil underneath motor etc. ( I tried re-setting the motor. That doesn't seem to work.) It fills up and then when the water shuts off, I hear absolutely nothing from the motor. No hum, no noise at all. I move the switch to drain and it drains the water, but still doesn't spin. If it was the clutch, wouldn't the shaft still be spinning? It's not. There is literally no noise. Nothing seems to get warm to the touch, or smell like somethings burning up. I replaced the agitator dogs 2 years ago, but this is a different problem. It's like there isn't any power to the motor. Could this mean it's the control board? How would I go about testing it? Any help would be great ! Thanks !
