I've done a lot of reading here about humming problems, but haven't seen quite what I have:
I've been slowly working on this machine as I have time and/or a part arrives. Each time I hook it up (after several days at least), it will fill, no problem.
Then it will agitate and drain if I keep it going. After that (a complete stop) it will not go into spin, but hums. Then it will do nothing else, no agitation, no draining, and no spinning.
If I put the switch in "spin" to start with, it will spin, but then nothing.
So, it works once after dormancy and then only hums. This happens every time I work on it.
I have replaced:
-motor coupler
-start capacitor
I have taken apart the pump and it is clear of obstructions & spins.

Any ideas from the geniuses out there? Thank you.
