My Kenmore Elite front loader doesn't spin properly. Sometimes we observe it spinning slower than it should and then struggle to increase the speed. Other times it will just stop and show finished after spinning for only a small part of the spin cycle. Then there are times when the spinning will start and stop several times during the cycle.

Because of these issues I usually have to run a drain and spin cycle before putting my clothes in the dryer because they are still extremely wet. I suspect that the motor control unit is the culprit.

Look at basket nut on bottom. Comes loose.

Must turn washer over

Sorry, mine was a top loader.
