Ok so here's the deal. My 13 yr old Fridgidaire washer started leaking today. I see where it is leaking from the bottom of the tub to where it meets the motor. I can see water dripping from where the motor meets the bottom of the plastic tub when I look at it with the front panel off. It only leaks from there when the tub is filling. I have also noticed it is louder when it spins now. I just want to make sure I buy the right part. Is this the main seal of the tub that needs to be replaced?

I think it is that seal but get your model number and use it to see exploded views of your machine and the parts that you might need.

Here is a link to a repair manual for a top loader Frigidaire, but without a model number I cannot be certain this what you have. Probably it is.
