I could use a sanity check. First ran an automatic test, got the following: F5 E1 (Lid Switch), F2 E1 (Stuck Key), F7 E1 (Basket Spd Sensor Flt), F7 E7 (Mtr can't reach target RPM). Basket spins free by hand (Also passes Tach Verification test). Motor spins free. Cleared all the codes and re-ran the test - Got F7 E5 - Shifter Fault. Ran through test 3a in the service manual stuffed inside the machine. Connectors tight, removed and reseated all. Shifter Motor ohms out at 2.56K. 120V on the controller for the shifter motor. Shifter switch 5.08V in Spin, 0V in Agitate. Had 12.2 V (Not 13 V) for the optical sensor. Harness ohms out. Manual agitate test I can hear activity but no basket motion. Manual Spin test drops within a few seconds. Here is the part I don't understand. I don't believe the main drive motor ever spins. How would the faulty shifter keep the main drive motor from spinning? I am thinking Run Capacitor could be bad.
Thanks in advance! -Chris
