GE Toploading washer.

When the spin cycle is going there is a grinding/scraping noise... (almost as if something is dragging on the outside of the tub as is spins.)

With the machine stopped and empty i can turn the tub and still hear the noise. It sounds to be towards the lower back.


Thoughts on what might be causing it.. Tub is partly disassembled and still can't pin it down.
