I have a hydrowave washing machine (WPRE6150K2WT) that appears to have a bad shifter coil (4 blinks). I dissasembled everything to replace it, but can't get the hub nut off to remove the tub.

I have the spanner wrench and pounded on it in the clockwise direction. It slowly began to turn, but what I found was the nut and shaft were turning. Now they both turn together fairly easily. How do I get this nut off?

I've tried gripping the upper spline with vice grips while trying to pound the nut loose, but no luck. I've also used WD40 and PB Blaster.

Any ideas?
