My ice maker is freezing up.
Once it does I remove it, put it in the sink and let the ice melt and reinstall it.
Then everything works fine again until it fills the bin and shuts itself off.
If I continually need ice it will keep making them.
It happens when it's not in use. It doesn't seem like it can defrost itself.
Any suggestions??
Also, Is there a big difference in the quality of replacement ice makers???
On G.E's web site my ice maker goes for $150.
On other sites I've found it to be $60
